The snow has made its annual appearance in Fernie and the local ski hill is bustling with people getting face shots, dodging early season hazards and did we mention……getting fresh powder face shots. The temperature for the past few weeks has been slightly below freezing; but still giving way for some sunny days and pretty fun fishing opportunities. For the local fishing and skiing enthusiasts we have been pleasantly surprised with both early season skiing and late season fishing!
Thanks to all of our new friends and guests that took trips and supported us this past summer; we sold out!
I have been trying to figure out a way to describe this summers adventures and an overwhelming smile takes over my face……many years of saving, hard work, passion and dedication have earned me to wear that smile…..there’s so many stories, adventures, memories that I m still putting it all into context.
Then I think of all of you that have helped along the way…including guests, friends, family and many of the local fishing guides and have a huge sense of gratitude. The summer can simply be described as “one for the books”….We set out to have a fun summer providing our guests and guides with a memorable experience and that we did! Thank you again!
